    CANEDERLI – sometimes referred to as gnocchi, originated in northern Italy where Germanic culture is prevalent. Often made with bread instead of flour, they can include a wide range of ingredients such as meats, proscuitto, spinach, speck, and cheese.

    Every month we chose a Region of Italy and create an original Set Menu. We focus on local specialties, lesser well known dishes, and of course the signature foods from that specific area.

    Normally its a 4-5 courses with matching wines and cocktails to complete the experience.

    UMBRIA –.The charm of Umbria derives from its fusion of art, nature, peace and calm, the inspirations behind its various localities that comprise Renaissance masterpieces and small Medieval towns embedded in the hills. Small region with great tastes that satisfy all palates: the best dish for meat lovers is pork, masterfully treated by Umbrian butchers who turn the meat into delicacies like sausages,tasty hams and salami, like those of Norcia, to eat with unsalted bread that brings out the taste.

    This famous typical plate of Umbria region takes its name from the “rancid” taste of smoked pancetta use for his sauce. It’s a simple plate of spaghetti with sugo, pecorino, marjoram & pancetta.

    Typical main dish of this region, pan fried italian sausages cooked with grapes and fennel seeds.

  • Fundraiser “Yahya El Jabaly”

    Saturday the 12th April

    12 – 4pm at i Carusi ii

    THE STORY OF  Yahya El Jabaly.

    Yahya is a 4 year old boy born into a poor family in a small village in Morocco. He was born with a rare and severe facial/cranial deformity, which reduces his chance to live a normal life.

    Yahya had his 1st of many reconstructive surgeries in Melbourne on the 24th of february 2015, thanks to the generosity of prof. Tony Holmes and his team of surgeons, who separated Bangladeshi-born conjoined twins Trishna and Krishna and agreed to operate on the toddler.Yahya is still recovering today and needs our support.

    Answer – Participate in our Charity Market Fundraiser

    How – Donate some of  your pre-loved belongings to our market at I Carusi II and give them a second home!

    When – April 12th at I Carusi II. Time – 12pm – 4pm

    How does it work – Items are then put on display with marked prices to be sold.

    unsold items will be given to the family or the Sacred Heart Mission
